Solid office chair for someone who is heavier than the standard person (I go about 260 lbs). Most chairs rated at my weight last about a month before breaking. Had this one for a few weeks and no issues yet. Delivery was a problem, so I would recommend getting someone other than USPS to do the delivery (but it might have been a local issue).Doesn't have a lot of the features more expensive chairs have, but that was fine with me. Just less to have break.First of all the chair was packaged fairly well, the cardboard between the back/seat had rubbed through and allowed an arm to contact the bolt studs and scratched some of the paint off the arm.Assembly was simple with barely a hitch. Hint: Don’t tighten all the arm bolts until you have them all started first.I have only used the chair for about a week and so far it is comfortable for my 6’2” 340lb body. More time will tell how it will hold up.Very easy to put together and very comfortable. Purchased another one for my other child. Perfect with corner deskThis is a very good-looking chair and appears to be well-made. There are two very deep scratches on my left armrest support where the finish has been scratched through. While I received assembly instructions, they are inaccurate, suggesting I attached the back/arms in such a way as they are backwards. After I figured that out, it was not a bad installation but the screws are really to soft for the amount you need to tighten them. It is also easiest (if you are assembling alone) to attached the arms to the upper cushion and then mount to the base. I did not receive any operating/adjusting instructions so am still working how to stabilize the tilt as the chair keeps tossing me out.I built the chair as the directions said but as my mom sat in it who is under 200 lbs i heard wood cracking, thats right after i built it.Im a 6 Foot 4 Person and at 340 LBS the chair is slightly wider than i need but it is very comfortable to sit in, long term use may vary but i feel like it will last me a long time, i do worry about the wood cracking noise as someone sat in it slowly i hope to receive a answer about that from the manufacturer as to what it might be but as far as i can tell it is easy to put together and a very nice chair.The backrest, unlike many other chairs, is solely supported by the arm-rests which are made of plastic, and only held in place by 4 screws on each side. Most "heavy duty" chairs have the backrest supported by a steel plate which is attached to the seat bracket. Once an arm breaks, the chair will quickly become a stool. This particular chair must have been packaged on a Friday (workers in a hurry to start the weekend) as one arm was scratched and gouged deeply - only cosmetic, though, and the wife hasn't noticed. :-)It looks good and comfy and despite other reviewers claiming it's not comfy. I find it perfectly comfy and I find it more comfy than a more cushy bum chair I bought at Office Depot for over $50.more which I sink down into and does not allow arm rest to be moved so, this LCH allows arm rests to me lifted and does not sink down so, for me - it was the best value for the buck I found and I'm happy.This chair is very uncomfortable for me (5'3"). I can't just sit down on it, I have to hold onto the arms and launch myself into it, and then squirm around to get my back end all the way back. The back of the chair is sloped too far back for working at a desk, so I have a pillow tied to it. I do like that this chair is very quiet when I sit or move around in it and the fold-up arms are great. My husband is tall so he has no problem getting into the chair as I do, but he also does not like the deep sloped back. Buying this chair was a mistake for us.
